Be Careful Who You Let In Your Home
It goes without saying, but residents should beware of individuals claiming to be from any company and who want to come inside. The City is asking that people avoid letting in any uninvited vendors. Please see this memo for more information.
Membership Form
Now that our association's new year has begun, it's time for everybody to renew their dues!
Everyone should renew their memberships by the date of our annual meeting in May, otherwise your membership will lapse and you will lose voting privileges in the association.
Neighborhood Thefts
With the nicer weather, we've had an uptick in thefts from cars in the neighborhood. Car breakins sometimes happen even when no valuables are visible, so please make sure to bring your valuable items, including portable electronics such as phones, iPods, and GPS receivers, inside your home once you've parked.
If you see suspicious activity, keep out of the way but discreetly pay attention so you could describe the person or group of people; then call 9-1-1 to report the activity.
Turkey On The Loose

A wild turkey piqued neighbors' interest on Ashland Street's dead end today as it completed a walking tour of the neighborhood. While we don't ordinarily see turkeys in Clam Point, every now and then one appears by the Boston Globe.
From BPD: Don't let in strangers impersonating city workers
Subject: Boston Police: C-11 Dorchester Alert - Beware of Scams
Due to the recent rain amounts and given the likelihood of additional rains, area residents are asked to be highly suspicious or cautious of any individual or individuals wishing to gain access to their home. If a person, is claiming to be an employee of the Water and Sewer Commission or the Water Disaster Department is attempting to gain entry into your home do not allow them to come in. In the event that this occurs you are to urge to immediately call 911.
